Patco to Provide Food-Safety Services to 7-Eleven
June 24, 2003 - NACS Online
LIVERPOOL, NY -- Patco Food Safety Consultants announced that it has a
five-year commitment to provide an enhanced cleaning and sanitation
program to all corporate-owned 7-Eleven stores, nationwide, which
began in April.
Patco will provide a suite of cleaning products to the stores,
including standard chemicals, such as glass cleaner and floor cleaner.
Chemical-dispensing equipment will be part of the package, as well as
specialty items formulated for the foodservice areas of each of 7-Eleven's
participating stores.
Another integral part of the program includes nationwide onsite
service. A certified Patco Food Safety Technician will visit each store
once per quarter to provide routine maintenance to the chemical-dispensing
equipment and to train the store managers and staff on the proper use of
the chemicals.
The announcement comes at the end of a test program in close to 750
stores in markets from Florida to the Chesapeake region. During the test
phase, Patco worked with 7-Eleven's Quality Assurance team to tailor the
program to 7-Eleven's store needs.
